Conventional Heating and Cooling Systems

Heating Systems

No other single system in your building plays a larger role in your comfort or how much your utility bill will be than your heating system. We specialize in cost-effective, high-efficiency heating solutions, including:

  • Natural gas furnaces – Natural gas furnaces are the most common option in the US, especially in the Tulsa area where most homes are connected to gas lines. The best models are 98% efficient, so very little fuel goes to waste.
  • Oil furnaces – Oil furnaces are well known for their durability. More often than not, they last for 20 years or more when they’re properly installed by a knowledgeable technician. Your heating oil is stored in a tank that’s placed in your yard, and many oil companies will allow you to rent a tank if you’re not in the position to buy one.  They heat up your home or building very quickly.
  • Electric furnaces – If your home or building is not connected to gas lines, another option would be to install an electric furnace. Electric heaters are very efficient since you don’t lose any fuel through the vent as you do when using a gas furnace.
  • Boilers – A boiler works by heating water to create either hot water or steam which is then distributed through the pipes in your home or building to steam radiators, baseboard radiators or radiant floor systems.
  • Gas and electric heat pumps – Heat pumps can be used all year long.. In the winter time, heat pumps heat your home or building by drawing heat from the air or ground outside and circulating it through the ducts and into the rooms of your home or building.
  • Ductless systems – As the name suggests, ductless heat pumps provide a way to move conditioned air throughout your home without using any ducts. Instead, a register is mounted on the wall or ceiling and delivers the exact amount of air necessary to keep the room comfortable all throughout the year.
  • Zoned systems – A zoning system for your HVAC system is the way to control the temperature for each area, or “zone” of your home or building.  Rather than have to heat or cool the entire place to the same temperature, with a zoning system, you can customize a different  temperature for either individual rooms or sections of your home or building.

Air Conditioning

In climates like ours in Tulsa Oklahoma, a high-efficiency central air conditioning system can keep your entire home or building comfortable while keeping utility costs low. Some units even qualify for a Federal Tax Credit or a state or local rebate, saving you even more cost on your bills.  Air conditioning solutions include:

  • Air cooled conventional systems – Central air conditioners are designed specifically to cool the entire house. In these systems, a larger compressor unit is located outside which drives the process.  Then an indoor coil filled with refrigerant cools air that from there is moved throughout the house via air ducts.
  • Geothermal systems – These systems pull heat out from the home or building.  Learn more here!
  • Ductless systems – As the name suggests, ductless heat pumps provide a way to move conditioned air throughout your home without using any ducts. Instead, a register is mounted on the wall or ceiling and delivers the exact amount of air necessary to keep the room comfortable all throughout the year.

  • Chilled water systems – Chilled water systems work much the same way as a conventional system works w except that they use water in the coil rather than refrigerant. Chilled Water systems can be rather complex and most chilled water systems are used in commercial and industrial applications. 
  • Computer/IT Room systems – A precision computer room cooling control system requires year-round control of temperature, humidity and air cleanliness, within the narrow tolerances detailed by computer manufacturers. Many elements are considered when installing computer room air conditioners such as power requirements (current and potential), server room air flow, humidification, filtration, size, and location.
  • Industrial Process Cooling – In many industrial processes, the heat load must be carefully managed. Different aspects of an application may require cooling.  Key cooling areas would include the direct cooling of a product, metal products during machining, and machine cooling.
