Darlene Adkins, an employee of the company for 13 years, acquired KMS in 2021 from its founders. The company is now 100% woman and minority owned. “It was very important to the founding owners that the company remain locally-owned, and I’m incredibly proud to continue honoring that legacy,” Adkins notes.
