HVAC Service Technician – Experienced Journeyman with Leadership Skills
About the Role:
We are seeking atrained and experienced HVAC Journeymanwho excels in troubleshooting and demonstrates leadership qualities. This role involves working on commercial and residential HVAC systems while mentoring others and contributing to a strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC units with precision and professionalism.
- Diagnose complex service issues and perform repairs per manufacturer standards.
- Lead by example—support and guide junior technicians when needed.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Must be available for shift Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm
- Provide emergency service on a rotating schedule (nights/weekends).
- Maintain company vehicle and proper stock of parts and tools.
- Generate invoices and obtain customer signatures on-site.
- Document equipment details and recommend upgrades.
Qualifications:
- Current HVAC Journeyman License (Required)
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid, Insurable driver’s license
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Good driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Lift up to 50 lbs; work in heights and confined spaces
- Maintain neat appearance and follow safety procedures

Installation Leadman – Experienced Commercial HVAC Installer
Location: Tulsa, OK
Employment Type: Full-Time
KMS HVAC is seeking a skilled Installation Leadman to lead commercial HVAC installation projects. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who can manage job sites, ensure quality standards, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee commercial HVAC installations (new construction, retrofits, change-outs).
- Interpret plans, specifications, and installation instructions.
- Train and direct helpers, ensuring safety and efficiency.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and educate clients on system use.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and job site cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (commercial focus preferred).
- Current HVAC Journeyman license and OSHA-10 certification.
- Skilled in ductwork, piping, controls, and electrical connections.
- Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot systems.
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid, Insurable driver license
- Able to work Monday through Friday 7am-3:30 pm (overtime and travel sometimes required)
Preferred: OSHA-30, refrigeration recovery license, CDL, bilingual (Spanish/English).
